The Centre for Addiction Prevention and Healthy Living (CAPAHL), formerly known as the Trinidad and Tobago National Council on Alcoholism (TTNCA), is a long-standing NGO committed to promoting the health and well-being of our nation. The organization was originally established by the late Professor Michael Beaubrun and George Edwards, two pioneers in the field of addiction prevention. CAPAHL was first incorporated under Parliamentary Act 36 of 1977; however, the name and legislation were later updated and replaced by Act 10 of 2023.
